We have a 9 hour layover in Paris on the way to Venice. We will be picked up from the airport by private car and taken on a personalized private tour of Paris. We plan to visit the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysee's, and as many other places as we can squeeze in. Then our driver will return us to the airport in time to continue on to Venice.

With your wedding gift, we will explore the island of Burano by boat!  This romantic honeymoon guided tour takes us to Burano’s century's old lace making houses.

Our romantic honeymoon destination, Venice, is the place for romantic rendezvous since 1720! We’ll enjoy a breezy nightcap in the shadows of San Marco and listen to the dueling café orchestras set the mood to the peaceful Venetian vibe!

Together we’ll experience Chiesa di Sant’Alvise while honeymooning in romantic Venice! This medieval church will amaze us with its ornate baroque interior while learning about its rich history!

While on our honeymoon we would love to travel to Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. This day trip will allow us to take in the highlights so we can plan our next trip to Italy.

For more than 1,000 years the city of Murano has carried on a legacy of glassmaking artistry. So, on our honeymoon we’ll witness the methods of this unique craft and learn that it was once considered treason for glass workers to leave the city!

We can’t go to Paris without seeing this masterpiece of gothic architecture, the cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris, imagined by Bishop Maurice de Sully and built between the 12th and the 14th centuries (1163-1345).

We can’t wait to see Venice by night revealing both romance and mystery! This Ghost Walking Tour features six intriguing ghost stories that will bring a chill to the night’s air, but we’ll also be entertained by legends of sea monsters and the Venetians themselves will include the legend of Marco Polo’s wife! This ghost tour is not for the faint-hearted!

While honeymooning in Venice, we’ll relax on a romantic gondola ride along the Grand Canal, Venice’s largest waterway! We will be serenaded by live music as we wind through secret canals and enjoy the Venetian architecture. How romantic!

Our honeymoon in Venice would not be complete without a visit to Torcello! This birthplace of Venetian commerce was once home to 20,000 people and now numbers less than 80. We’ll wander past the eerily overgrown main square to discover the village’s former glory revealed by intricate Byzantine mosaics in the town church!

On our honeymoon, we’ll want to rest our tired feet from all the sight-seeing and enjoy a Vivaldi concert in Venice! The performers in wigs and tights will put on a more whimsical show while musicians in black and white suits give a higher-caliber performance. We can’t wait!

The Veneto Half-Day Wine Tasting Trip includes a visit to a historical cantina and its Vineyards. We will visit a local family-run vineyard with wine tasting and homemade appetizers. We will learn how wines are produced today and how they have been produced in the past.

With your wedding gift, we’ll savor a delightful French lunch at the Eiffel Tower as we take in the sweeping views of our very romantic honeymoon destination!

We will visit all the trendy stores on the main street in the heart of Paris and check out the classically elegant European clothes in all the boutiques. We’ll shop until we drop!

While we are in Italy, we thought we would visit some of the surrounding towns like Verona - the legendary home of Romeo and Juliet.

There are no cars in Venice so we will need to ride the Vaporetto to get from place to place.  A Vaporetto is a boat which serves as a city bus.

For true relaxation there's nothing like a massage.

We might need some new camera lenses to capture all the beautiful scenery in Italy.

You know how much we like to cook (and eat) so we thought we'd learn how to do it properly.

While we are there, we'd love to attend one of Italy's classic operas Madame Butterfly.  it will actually be in production while we are in Venice!
